LPP – one of Central Europe’s fastest-growing retailers

LPP, founded in Poland, is one of Central Europe’s fastest-growing fashion retailers. Known for its brands Reserved, Cropp, House, Mohito, and Sinsay, LPP operates nearly 2,500 stores and e-commerce sales across 40 markets worldwide. The company distributes products to three continents and provides employment to 43,000 people across Poland, Europe, Asia, and Africa. LPP’s growth is fueled by a successful blend of brick-and-mortar stores and e-commerce.

LPP’s growth journey and need for new regional distribution hubs

As LPP increased its presence in the growing economies of in Southeast Europe (SEE), it needed a logistics location that could centralised distribution center capable of handling vast product volumes while ensuring timely deliveries across the region, including Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Croatia, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Greece.

Romania emerged as the ideal location, strategically placed at the “centre of gravity” of LPP’s network of stores. This location reduced delivery times and streamlined logistics, essential for maintaining LPP’s growth momentum. However, to meet these needs, LPP required a partner with extensive expertise and infrastructure.

Romania as a regional solution

Romania’s location made it pivotal in LPP’s expansion strategy. The country’s proximity to Central and Eastern Europe, coupled with easy access to LPP’s Asian suppliers via the nearby Port of Constanta, positioned it perfectly for supporting both regional and international operations. Locating the new distribution centre in Romania allowed LPP to enhance its supply chain and meet growing consumer demand across multiple markets.

CTPark Bucharest West, located by the country’s capital city and one of the largest industrial parks in Europe, offered excellent connectivity via the A1 highway, ensuring seamless distribution across Europe and direct access to Bucharest’s growing market.

“The recognition of LPP brands in Southern Europe built for several years now is paying off in the form of positive results and optimistic sales forecasts. For logistics, this means the need to optimise processes and adapt them to growing volumes, so that at the final stage the customer can enjoy product availability and fast delivery. […] An unquestionable advantage of this location is its strategic location in relation to the Black Sea port of Constanta, which makes it possible for us to diversify our shipping paths and receive the Group’s orders directly from Asian suppliers.”
– Sebastian Sołtys, President of the Management Board of LPP Logistics

CTP as an agile real estate solution and seamless growth partner

LPP chose to partner with CTP, because of its proven in-house ability to deliver customised solutions. In less than a year, CTP’s team constructed a 55,000 sqm facility at CTPark Bucharest West, enabling LPP to service over 450 stores at the same time and ship up to 6 million pieces of apparel weekly. Following this success, LPP extended its facility, designating 40,000 sqm for an e-commerce centre to bolster its online sales capacity.

“LPP’s new e-commerce facility at CTPark Bucharest West has been designed and delivered to meet LPP’s individual requirements that will support the continued growth of its business. We worked closely with LPP at every stage to ensure the facility could be successfully delivered within a tight timeframe. It represents another shining example of how we build close relationships with existing clients to become their long-term property partners. Because we have an understanding of their business we’re ready and able to deliver the space they need when they need it.”
– Ionuț Anghel, Regional Development Manager for CTP Romania
