Bordering seven countries in the heart of Central-Eastern Europe, Hungary’s optimal geographic location has attracted significant FDI inflow in recent years. Robust national infrastructure, a tradition of logistics, and one of the highest densities of TEN-T networks in Europe all facilitate movement across CEE and into the nations of Europe’s south. Hungary’s low corporate income tax and relatively limited bureaucratic red tape make it easy for investors to capitalise on a bustling domestic market and proximity to a vast network of consumers abroad.

Hot Regions in Hungary

Countryside

Positioned at the crossroads of the European continent, Hungary's rustic expanses, beyond the metropolitan allure of Budapest, are pivotal in the realm of industrial real estate. The serene countryside, distinguished by the winding Danube River, contributes significantly to Hungary's economic landscape, offering a strategic and picturesque backdrop for industrial development.   In contrast to Budapest's vibrant economic activity, the countryside's significance emanates from its integral role in the Trans-European Transport Network. Serving as a conduit for the movement of goods, Hungary's rural regions play a crucial part in the nation's internal connectivity and extend their influence to neighboring countries in every cardinal direction.   The labor force in the countryside, deeply rooted in the agrarian landscape, stands as a valuable asset for investors seeking a cost-effective and skilled workforce. The government's dedication to fostering Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) reinforces Hungary's commitment to economic growth, transcending the urban periphery.   Steeped in a legacy of logistics, Hungary's countryside boasts a well-established national infrastructure that facilitates seamless movement within the nation and establishes vital connections to the broader European network. Business development in these regions benefits from streamlined bureaucratic processes, creating an environment conducive to industrial growth that competes favorably with neighboring Central European urban centers.   Mirroring the demand for industrial space in Budapest, the countryside regions experience heightened interest, leading to historically low vacancy rates. Recognizing this trend, strategic industrial parks provide A-Class facilities strategically located in proximity to essential transport links. Ongoing expansion initiatives by CTP respond proactively to the escalating demand, solidifying the countryside's pivotal role in Hungary's industrial real estate narrative.

Budapest

Straddling the Danube river at the crossroads—quite literally—of the European continent, the Hungarian capital and its thriving economy are standouts in Europe’s centre-east. Budapest’s healthy economic activity and GDP, which have risen relatively steadily over the past decade, can be attributed in large part to the city’s advantageous geographic position. Three corridors in the Trans-European Transport Network cross through Budapest, and an intricate freight rail network connects the capital city to the rest of the country and to its neighbours north, south, east, and west. Home to the European Institute of Innovation and Technology and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest is a regional capital for research and technology. A highly educated workforce available at relatively inexpensive rates make the city a particularly attractive location for investors. Hungary’s government has demonstrated significant interest in fostering the inflow of FDI, and the nation has plenty of cause to believe in its continued ability to attract major players. A long history in logistics, coupled with well-developed national infrastructure, facilitate movement throughout the country and in every direction beyond its borders. The nation also offers a fertile environment for business development with less bureaucratic red tape than its neighbours in Central Europe. Hungary has displayed some of the fastest economic growth in the EU, thanks in part to rising domestic demand. The high demand for industrial space in and around Budapest has pushed the vacancy rate to an historic low of 2.4%. The CTPark network offers its clients A-Class industrial space in three strategically located parks: CTPark Budapest West, South, East and CTPark Vecsés. Each of these offers competitive proximity to vital transport links, and CTP has undertaken an ongoing expansion effort to accommodate rising demand. Reasons to believe:
