Group Head of Treasury and Payments

Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities

The Head of Treasury and Payments is responsible for forecasting operating cash in conjunction with Accounting and Consolidation. Additionally, the role is responsible for the continuous monitoring of the cashflow and liquidity position of CTP. Furthermore, the role is responsible for all domestic and international payments across the CTP Group.

This includes:
▪ Securing maximum income from excess cash held as strategic reserve
▪ Managing Foreign Exchange
▪ Acting as main interface to external service providers – banks, brokers, FX houses
▪ Ensure adequate operating liquidity, which includes daily review of cash management
• Review and monitoring of A/P checks
• Creating and designing cash flow and working capital reporting
• Managing cross-border treasury for major countries and centralised treasury for multiple smaller countries
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and adherence to corporate governance standards
• Leading and mentoring a small team of treasury professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The candidate should possess an excellent understanding of the treasury function and its impact on the organization. Personality fit within a compact and hands-on team is essential. The ideal candidate should be enterprising, outgoing, and enjoy teamwork. The candidate should demonstrate diligence, reliability, trustworthiness and experience in streamlining regular repetitive processe and understand the role has a supportive character to leadership in both CTP International and Country Management.
