Independent Accountant

Your daily task will be:

• Responsible for day-to-day accounting operations on assigned legal entities;
• Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts
• Responsible for timely delivery of financial statements
• Preparation for timely filing of monthly VAT declarations
• Maintaining general ledger, fixed asset ledger, depreciation
• Book bank statement;
• Responsible for  incorporation of weekly payments
• Support with annual corporate income tax calculation incl. deferred tax calculation
• Cooperates with Auditor relating to external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records;
• Support with  implementation of  adjustment, resulting from the audit findings
• Accountable for ensuring that accounting policies and procedures are followed.
• Support with take-over of Accounting from external accounting agency
• Support in set-up of accounting system procesess
• Responsible for preparing ad hoc statements/forms to the tax office
• Prepare all necessary reports to support management
• Able to thrive in deadline-driven environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting certification preferred;
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as  accountant
• Experience from real estate company/external accounting office  big advantage
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong understanding of Polish accounting, tax principles.
• Experience on similar positions within organizations with multiple entities (over 20 preferred)
• Exceptional math skills.
• Proficiency with computers, especially Excel
• Knowledge of Axapta system is an advantage
• High level of efficiency and accuracy.
• Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company regulations.
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of data.
• Communicative English language.
• Assertive, communicative personality, team player however able to work independently
