Another step towards a sustainable future. CTPark Warsaw South with BREEAM In-Use certification at ‘Excellent’ level.

WARS01 and WARS03 halls, which are part of the CTPark Warsaw South production and logistics complex, have received BREEAM International New Construction V6 certification at the ‘Excellent’ level with an overall score of 75.2 per cent. These are the fifth and sixth facilities in CTP Poland’s portfolio to receive this distinction this year, confirming the property’s positive impact on the environment.

The WARS01 and WARS03 buildings, with areas of 46,950 and 20,490 sq m respectively, received the highest scores in the categories of management (73/100), energy consumption (92/100), waste management (86/100), pollution control (83/100) and maximum points (100/100) in the context of the use of water resources.

Bogi Gabrovic, Director of Client Relations & Corporate Affairs at CTP Poland, says:

“We are dynamically expanding our range of production and warehouse facilities, which we always certify under the BREEAM system at a level of at least ‘Very good’. This year alone, our facilities in Opole, where we obtained the highest level of ‘Outstanding’ for one of the buildings, as well as Sulechów and Iłowa, received it. The pro-environmental solutions implemented at CTParks allow our business partners to develop their operations while respecting the environment and at the same time upholding the comfort of space users. They are also a great asset in the context of the CSRD, which currently plays an extremely important role in companies‘ development strategies.”

In the buildings within the CTPark Warsaw South complex, located in Mszczonów near Warsaw, solutions such as heat pumps integrated into the heating system or highly efficient LED lighting controlled by the DALI system were used. Moreover, the construction of the park’s roofs makes it possible to install photovoltaic panels as a source of green energy. One of the halls also uses transparent façade panels with a transparency level of up to 55 per cent, which increase the illumination of the space, while maintaining a high degree of thermal insulation. All of this translates into a significant reduction in the energy intensity of this investment and its operational carbon footprint, while at the same time optimising operating and maintenance costs for tenants.

Ultimately, CTPark Warsaw South will offer more than 199,000 sqm of modern rental space. The companies TAS Logistyka, IPOS Maciej Szczepanik and the Fiege brand currently have their operations there. Another advantage of the complex is its location. It is located between Warsaw and Łódź, in the vicinity of the S8 expressway, enabling efficient access to the Silesia region or Wrocław. In addition, it is well connected to the A2 motorway, which is one of the most important transport corridors in the country
