Group Construction Controller

Role description:

The Group Construction Controller manages and oversees construction budgets, including updates, tracking, and closures, while monitoring related costs and revenues. The role analyze project earnings, compare final costs to budgets, and drive cost optimization initiatives. Additionally, the Group Construction Controller work closely with country controllers, managers, and project teams to ensure the accurate creation of budgets and the implementation of efficient processes. The role also involves conducting compliance checks on construction costs and scopes to uphold financial and operational integrity.

 

Who are we looking for:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex data and presenting clear insights. The ideal candidate must have experience in construction projects, including budgeting, cost control, and quantity surveying, paired with excellent organizational and communication abilities. Proficiency in using construction management tools and financial software, as well as a solid understanding of project lifecycle management, is essential. Adaptability, a solution-focused mindset, and the ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining accuracy are key. Certifications like CCP or PMP, or prior work on complex infrastructure or commercial projects will be an advantage. Requirements:

• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Construction Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, including cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for large-scale projects.
• Proven experience in cost control, project management, and financial analysis in the construction industry.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction processes and project lifecycle.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the construction industry in a similar or related role
