CTP Invests EUR 75m Into Expansion Activities in Serbia
CTPs investment covers the acquisition of property in Belgrade and Novi Sad as well as further development all totalling 120,000 m2 of lettable area.
CTPs first investment, CTPark Belgrade West, is located in the capital, Belgrade: A 12,000-m2 facility accommodating an existing client, Phoenix Pharm, with an extension possibility of 5,500 m2.
A second investment, neighbouring CTPark Belgrade West, is a facility of 13,555 m2. It is currently under development with a planned opening in Q2 2019.
The Novi Sad Facility, with a delivery date in Q3 2019, will be over 23,000 m2. Novi Sad, the country’s second largest city, just 80 km from the Capital, is an industrial and financial centre in its own right, with over 340,000 inhabitants. The University of Novi Sad has more than 50,000 students and 5,000 employees and, as such, is one of the largest educational research centres in Central Europe. The Science and Technology Park Phase II is located in the University campus. This is an important attribute for potential CTP clients, most of whom come from the automotive, high-tech manufacturing and logistics industries.
