Netz Niederösterreich moves into modern logistics space at CTPark St. Pölten Nord
CTP, Europe’s leading listed developer and owner of industrial and logistics properties, delivered nearly 5,000 sqm of modern logistics space at CTPark St. Pölten Nord to Austrian electricity and natural gas distributor Netz Niederösterreich on 1 April 2025. The company, a subsidiary of Austrian power producer and transporter EVN, has received the key to their new facility before the final completion of the overall project and is the first company to take over their new premises at the park.
Modern location for critical infrastructure
Netz Niederösterreich’s new logistics centre comprises around 4,500 sqm of modern, future-oriented warehouse space and 350 sqm of offices. It will serve as a logistics hub for equipment for electricity and gas supply, including meters, transformers, and other supplies. Construction started in November 2024, with final completion and asphalting planned for spring 2025. “With CTPark St. Pölten Nord, we have a centrally located and modern logistics site,” emphasises Stefan Mandl, Head of Materials Management at Netz Niederösterreich. “The facility offers us optimal conditions for organising our security of supply efficiently and in a future-proof manner.”
CTPark St. Pölten Nord as a regional growth engine
At CTPark St. Pölten Nord, CTP is developing a modern business location covering a total area of around 68,000 sqm. The park is located in the immediate vicinity of the S33 motorway and has optimal transport connections. Netz Niederösterreich’s decision to locate there demonstrates how important the region is becoming for infrastructure-related companies. “CTPark St. Pölten Nord will create an attractive business location in our municipality that will create jobs, attract companies, and strengthen the quality of the location in the long term,” emphasises Ewald Gorth, mayor of Inzersdorf-Getzersdorf. “Netz Niederösterreich’s decision is a strong signal for the economic development of our region.”
Partnership-based implementation by CTP
The project was realised by CTP’s local team, represented at the handover by Sarah Klein, CTP’s Construction Director in Austria and Hermann Linke, Site Manager, SALT construction services, both of whom coordinated the project together with the client. “The close coordination with Netz Niederösterreich and the clear focus on future requirements have made this project an example of best practice for our site development,” says Romano Tafaj, head of Business Development for CTP in Austria. “The region around St. Pölten shows enormous potential, and we look forward to developing it further together with strong partners.”
