Stylish housing Domeq by CTP is the first residential building in the Czech Republic to be certified WELL Platinum

Prague, 9. April 2024 – CTP, Europe’s largest listed developer, owner, and manager of industrial and logistics properties by gross lettable area (GLA), has received the highest level of the prestigious WELL certification focused on healthy living for its residential project Domeq in Brno. It is the first ever residence in the Czech Republic to meet the strictest criteria for indoor spaces for human health and wellbeing. This achievement confirms CTP’s leadership in sustainable development across all its projects.

Domeq 2 and 3 are the first residential buildings in the Czech Republic to meet the strict criteria of the highest Platinum level of WELL certification for air, water, nutrition, light, fitness, thermal and acoustic comfort, materials, mind and community. The prestigious certification, awarded by the International WELL Building Institute pbc™, is a globally recognised standard for assessing the quality of indoor environments with respect to human health and well-being. The developer achieved the certification in cooperation with RUBY Project Management.

Stylish living in a business park community

The residence is part of the successful multifunctional Ponávka complex in the heart of Brno, a former brownfield site, which is now characterized by the green atmosphere of its urban campus. An important part of the Domeq concept is the emphasis on living in a dynamic social community within a business park, where a diverse mix of innovative businesses operate. It is intended to help young people kick-start their careers and expand their personal and professional networks.

Contemporarily furnished apartments offer superior services consisting of private and common areas. In the lobby, there is a relaxation area with a library and drinking fountain, as well as a bike room, laundry room, staff day room and lactation room. In addition to its health impact, the project also delights users with its aesthetic focus. The building itself is a work of art, where the architects have employed modern minimalism, a combination of geometric shapes, natural materials of soft colours such as exposed concrete, wood, large glass facades, complemented by subtle elements of bold colours underlining the originality of the design. The corridors are enlivened with colour, differentiated by floor and linked to the graphics from the staircase.

Affordable housing for companies

Developer CTP is dedicated to building highly sustainable and energy-efficient industrial, logistics and office parks, which it also owns and manages.
