CTP expands industrial park portfolio in Bratislava, Voderady and Trnava to meet increasing client demand
CTP, Europe’s largest listed developer, owner, and manager of industrial and logistics properties by gross lettable area (GLA), is expanding its industrial parks in Bratislava and its surroundings. At CTPark Bratislava, CTPark Voderady and CTPark Trnava, a total of approximately 94,000 sqm of new space will be added, of which over 31% has already been pre-let.
The construction of an additional four halls in each of the three industrial parks represents an important investment in the region. In Bratislava, Voderady and Trnava, the newly expanded spaces will be available to new tenants at the beginning of 2024.
CTPark Bratislava is located in Devínská Nová Ves, in an area with well-developed infrastructure and excellent access to the D2/E65 motorway. The location is easily accessibe to local railway connections and cargo ports, as well as to two international airports. The park offers more than 110,000 sqm of warehouse and production space, making it an ideal choice for companies involved in distribution, logistics, manufacturing and assembly. CTPark Bratislava is adjacent to the Volkswagen car factory. A part of the approximately 27,000 sqm large hall that will be added to the park will be taken over by a tier 1 automotive components supplier.
The nearby CTPark Voderady is well located for companies wishing to establish themselves in western Slovakia. The park provides convenient connectivity to nearby Trnava (10 km), the Slovak capital Bratislava (50 km), as well as neighbouring markets Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary. CTPark Voderady provides direct and easy access to D1, Slovakia’s main east-west motorway. Two industrial halls with a total area of over 52,000 sqm will be added in this location. Both halls already have their first tenants. Nagel Slovensko, a company engaged in logistics and storage of fresh and durable food, will open its operation in the first hall. A part of the second hall will be taken over by a production company operating in the automotive segment.
The third location, CTPark Trnava, is strategically positioned at the crossroads of the D1 highway and R1 expressway, and just 50 kilometers from the capital. Situated adjacent to the Stellantis automotive plant, the park is particularly wellsuited for companies involved in automotive component manufacturing, as well as logistics and distribution activities in Central and Eastern Europe. The construction of a new hall will add around 14,000 sqm of premium space to the park, of which over 4,500 sqm has already been pre-let.
All new halls in each of these locations will have solar-ready roofs.
There is currently a shortage of A class industrial halls in our market, which is chiefly as a result of the increase in nearshoring. Many companies are expanding or relocating their operations to Central and Eastern Europe. All three locations are in great demand, which is why we have started to expand our parks. This is positive news for the region, because the development of A class industrial properties is beneficial for the local economic eco-sytem and fosters further industrial insfrastructure.”
