C.P. Bourg is entering the Polish market. It will lease 3,500 sq m of space at CTPark Zabrze

23 November 2023. C.P. Bourg is an international company offering state-of-the-art solutions for the printing industry. Taking its first step on the Polish market, the company has leased around 3,500 sq m of warehouse and production space in the CTPark Zabrze complex. This is the next stage of its international expansion, allowing it to increase its sales volume and expand C.P. Bourg’s operations in further countries in Europe. The transaction was brokered by the consultancy agency Triflow.

Hailing from Belgium, C.P. Bourg started its activities in 1960. In the first stage of its existence, it was responsible for the distribution of American so-called gathering machines (used for arranging pages or sheets in the right order and combining them into entire publications) to European, African and Middle Eastern countries. However, as a result of a number of market changes, the company started producing its own solutions for the printing industry, becoming one of its leaders. Among the partners that C.P. Bourg works with on a daily basis are brands such as HP Indigo, Kodak, OCE/CANON, RICOH and XEROX.

In the ZAB1 building, which is part of the CTPark Zabrze complex, C.P. Bourg will carry out day-to-day operations related to the assembly of equipment in the company’s portfolio. It will also have office and social spaces at its disposal.

Mikołaj Walkowski, Managing Partner, Triflow, explains:

“I am pleased that, as Triflow, we were able to support C.P. Bourg in the process of finding a location for its newly established branch in Poland. Our main task was to find the optimal building in terms of location, strict technical parameters and the time in which the client planned to start production. CTPark Zabrze met all the requirements, with the added value of being able to install photovoltaic panels on the roof of the building and the company's further development prospects in this location”

CTPark Zabrze is located in the Silesian Metropolis with a population of around 2.7 million and a region with strong industrial traditions. It is located approximately 20 km from Katowice, in the immediate vicinity of the junction of the A1 and A4 motorways, enabling easy connections to other parts of Poland, as well as Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Bogi Gabrovic, Deputy Country Head at CTP Poland, say:

“The great interest in CTPark Zabrze on the part of tenants is influenced by its strategic location, which translates into streamlining and increasing the efficiency of the entire spectrum of logistics and production processes. The complex is also suitable, among other things, for the installation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs of buildings, thus responding to the expectations of customers in terms of implementing their ESG strategy and sustainable development mission. We are delighted that these assets have been recognised by CTP's new business partner C.P. Bourg. I am convinced that this is only the beginning of our cooperation.”

CTPark Zabrze is located within the Katowice Special Economic Zone, offering a 10-year property tax exemption. The complex is located on an area of 21 ha and will ultimately consist of five buildings. So far, three buildings with a total area of 66,790 sqm have been completed, and two more are planned, which will provide a total of 23,150 sqm of space. The developer plans to complete construction work in Q3 2024.
