Seamless Expansion for Global Automotive Supplier
With its HQ in Sweden, TitanX Engine Cooling is a global leader in truck cooling systems. It is part of the TATA Auto Comp, and is present in Europe, North and South America, and Asia.
TitanX first launched production at CTPark Opole in 2018 as one of the park’s first tenants with an 11,500 sqm custom-built facility and is expanded on due to strong customer demand. In Q1-2024, TitanX expanded its space at CTPark Opole bringing their total GLA to 27,000 sqm.
Its growth is jointly driven by two factors. Firstly, growing demand for zero-emission vehicles, which they support. Secondly, the automotive manufacturing is on the rise in CEE, especially as more companies move their manufacturing from abroad back to Europe.
Cedric Huslin, CEO of TitanX, comments:
“CTPark Opole is located in a strategic location, offering easy access to the A4 motorway and other key arteries leading to the Czech Republic and Germany. The fact that the investment is located in the automotive industrial cluster is of great business value to us. The Opole plant is key to increasing sales in Europe and is a milestone on the road to a sustainable future for transport. In the near term, it could also become an opportunity for TataAutoComp, the Indian conglomerate that owns TitanX, to expand its operations in this part of the continent.”
This park helps minise the company’s environmental footprint and meet its ESG in a variety of ways, which earned the building a BREEAM Outstanding for New Construction:
-
- Grey water reuse
- 12.5% skylights
- Approx. 600 kW from roof PVs
- 21cm mineral wool insulation
- EV charging
- 21cm mineral wool insulation
- Heating system which uses excess from exchangers to prevent freezing
- CO2 cooling technology
