Vlněna in Brno continues to attract technology leaders

The Vlněna complex in the centre of Brno is once again expanding with new faces from the world of technology. Four companies—Sanezoo, Avenga, Lifeliqe and Futured Apps—will together occupy more than 2,500 sqm of modern office and lab space and bring with them not only new job opportunities but also groundbreaking technological products and services that confirm the role of Brno and the Czech Republic as an ideal location for innovative global companies.

Sanezoo, a successful company focused on robotics and visual quality control and already a resident at Vlněna, has moved its activities from the nearby Bochner Palace to a larger, 451 sqm space in Building D, where it will create a new base for its unique technologies that combine cutting-edge hardware with artificial intelligence.

Vladimír Horák, a representative of Sanezoo, says:

“Our expansion at Vlněna will allow us to extend our research and testing capacities while being part of a dynamic technological environment. Thanks to the spatial flexibility of Vlněna and CTP, we have installed robotic arms at our new premises, which are essential for improving our products.”

Avenga, a global technology and consulting company with European roots, has moved into a 987 sqm office space in Building B. Their team of hundreds of experts works for clients worldwide, and their new space at Vlněna offers excellent conditions for further growth.

Petr Štros, Managing Director of Avenga Czechia, explains:

“The decision to choose Vlněna was a logical step given its location, high standard of buildings, and the opportunities it offers our employees.”

Lifeliqe, a company that streamlines education through virtual reality, has taken over a 478 sqm space in Building B. Their realistic VR simulations are changing the way students and employees are trained around the world. Lifeliqe will not only develop new products at their new office but will also actively collaborate with the community of companies at Vlněna.

Renata Pagáčová, COO of Lifeliqe, explains:

“Moving to Vlněna will allow us to be at the centre of action, host our own events, and test innovations together with other companies. Our corporate culture is based on the principles of open management with a flat management structure that emphasises cooperation, trust, and self-management without unnecessary hierarchy. That is why it is crucial for us to have modern facilities that support our team dynamics.”

Futured Apps, a technology company specialising in the development of mobile applications, has leased 590 sqm on two floors in Building I—Central Europe’s most modern office building. The company, which has worked on more than 70 projects for brands such as Škoda Auto and Decathlon, is establishing its headquarters at Vlněna.

Simona Sádecká, Head of HR at Futured Apps, says:

“The modern environment of Vlněna and the opportunity to be at the centre of Brno's technological scene were two key factors in our decision to settle at Vlněna.”

Vlněna has become synonymous with a high-quality and innovative working environment in Brno. All buildings meet the strictest environmental and technological standards: Buildings A,B,C, and D are certified BREEAM Excellent, and Building I is designed to achieve the highest sustainability standards and indoor work environment quality, including BREEAM Outstanding, WELL Platinum and WiredScore Platinum. Vlněna offers not only modern spaces but also a strong community base thanks to the Clubco coworking centre, where clients can organise their own events, training courses, and networking activities that connect companies across industries.

Tomáš Strýček, Senior Business Developer at CTP in the Czech Republic, says:

“We are delighted that more progressive technology companies have chosen Vlněna as their home. This is a clear signal to us that our strategy—high-quality spaces, strong client relationships, and a vibrant community—is delivering results.”

These four new lease agreements at Vlněna is further confirmation that Brno is among the most attractive locations for technology companies in the Czech Republic and Central and Eastern Europe—and rightly retains its nickname as the “Czech Silicon Valley”.
