DB Schenker extends 10,000 sqm lease at CTPark Székesfehérvár
CTP has signed another outstanding lease contract, as DB Schenker has extended its stay at the company’s logistics park in Székesfehérvár.
DB Schenker, one of the world’s leading logistics service providers, has extended its lease for approximately 10,000 square metres of space in CTPark Székesfehérvár. CTP continues to focus on sustainability, employee well-being, energy efficient solutions and high-quality property management and services, which are also enforced in CTPark Székesfehérvár to maximum extent.
DB Schenker moved into the more than 26,000 square metre CTPark logistics park in 2018 Q3. The company is one of the world’s leading logistics providers, employing more than 75,000 people in 130 countries and at 2,100 sites worldwide. It has numerous branches in Hungary and covers the entire spectrum of logistics.
DB Schenker operates successfully in many of CTP’s European locations, also present, for instance, in CTP industrial and logistics parks in the Czech Republic and Romania, in addition to Hungary. CTP’s strategic goal is to develop extensive, long-term relationships with its partners, offering world-class services to its tenants in each of its logistics parks.
One of the most important aspects for DB Schenker is that the logistics park is in an excellent location with ideal transport connections, as it lies directly next to the M7 motorway, 65 km from Budapest. CTPark Székesfehérvár is located in the dynamically developing Sóstó Industrial Park, which is home to the headquarters of several international companies.
Almost the entire Hungarian portfolio of CTP is BREAAM certified and, in addition to new investment projects, the company also places great emphasis on the continuous maintenance and modernisation of its buildings. It is also responsible for operation itself, using state-of-the-art technical and technological solutions, allowing it to react as quickly as possible to any arising problems and new tenant needs. In the interest of optimising energy use, most of its buildings are heated and cooled by electricity, partly provided by its own solar parks.
CTP entered the Hungarian real estate market in 2016 and has been growing at a tremendous pace ever since, reaching 1 million square metres of lettable space in Hungary last December, while boasting an occupancy rate of over 95%. The long-term objective is to reach 2 million square metres of real estate in the country, as Hungary continues to benefit from positive regional trends that create a strong demand for new investments.
