CTP Doksy Race 2023: Racing for real estate glory!

On the 16th of September, we marked another edition of our annual triathlon Doksy Race. Professionals from the real estate sector came together with friends and family to win the desired Real Estate Cup. The day was filled with activities, food and drinks. To end the day, everyone celebrated together at the afterparty. It was a lovely and sporty end to the summer.

On the day of the event, the serene atmosphere at Doksy came alive. The teams made their way to the Real Estate Zone, accompanied by their families and friends, eager to revel in the day’s festivities. The scene was touching and full of excitement. People were eagerly putting on their team jerseys, and there was a friendly buzz all around.

Amidst all the excitement, there was palpable tension as the clock ticked closer to 12 o’clock. This was the moment everyone had been waiting for. The beach, buzzing just moments ago, settled into a hushed silence. The only sound was a hymn playing softly in the background, evoking a sea of goosebumps among the audience. And then, as the race gun fired, a flurry of racers dashed towards the open waters, marking the beginning of their 2km challenge. It was an awe-inspiring spectacle, one that defines the spirit of Doksy Race.

After the adrenaline-pumping swimming segment, participants swiftly transitioned to their bicycles for a 90 km ride, navigating through the picturesque landscapes that surround Doksy. Spectators cheered passionately as cyclists powered through. Then, laying down their bikes, participants laced up their running shoes to conquer the final 21 km. The run, both challenging and exhilarating, brought forward moments of true grit and determination, as the teams pushed towards the finish line.

Congratulations to the winners

Daniel Jordán from Triatlon Česká Lípa took home the win in the individual race, finishing in 4 hours, 21 minutes, and 21.92 seconds. The top team was Cushman & Wakefield Team 1, with a great time of 4 hours, 25 minutes, and 11.22 seconds. The Romanian team did the best out of all the CTP teams, finishing in 9th place. A big cheer for all the racers – your effort made the race day special!

The engagement throughout the event was undeniable. Everywhere you looked, there was laughter, cheering, participants sharing their race timings, and friendly banter about who swam faster or ran with more gusto. After the official winners announcement, it was time for the afterparty where people danced until midnight.

The day, while centred around the race, goes beyond just physical competition. It’s about building connections, cherishing moments, and celebrating the love for the sport and the industry.

As we wrap up Doksy Race 2023, our hearts are already racing in anticipation for next year. Here’s to more challenges, more memories, and yet another thrilling race to the Real Estate Cup!
