Quanta Computer: Building high-tech production capacity in Europe from CTPark Jülich

With its HQ in Taipei, Quanta Computer is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of computers and electronic hardware, and a Fortune Global 500 company. The company provides advanced technology solutions for global brands and plays a key role in the international electronics supply chain. As demand for high-tech manufacturing in Europe continues to grow, Quanta selected CTP as its partner for establishing a new production base in CTPark Jülich located in western Germany, approximately 20 km from the Netherlands and around 30 km from Belgium.

Type of Space Production
Total Area 22,500 sqm
Special Needs Custom-built facility

Through its fully integrated development model, CTP supported Quanta throughout the entire process. From landbank and permitting to in-house design, construction and long-term property management. The company has committed to a 15 year lease, while CTP has invested approximately €45 million into the development of the facility. The new site in Jülich will enhance supply chain resilience for Europe’s technology sector while supporting the ongoing trend of high-tech production and nearshoring across the region.

Timo Hielscher, Managing Director at CTP Germany: “Quanta putting down roots at CTPark Jülich is another example of the nearshoring trend currently shaping the European real estate logistics market. High-tech Asian manufacturers in particular are relocating closer to their end markets and to benefit from shorter supply chains. CTP has the experience and skillset to help them develop and manage the properties they need, facilitating their entry to European markets and then managing their property as a landlord for the long term,”
