CTP delivers new 65,000 sqm e-commerce warehouse for LPP Logistics in CTPark Bucharest West
Bucharest, November 18, 2025 – CTP, Europe’s largest listed developer, owner, and manager of industrial and logistics properties by gross lettable area (GLA), has delivered a new 65,000 sqm e-commerce fulfilment centre for LPP Logistics in CTPark Bucharest West, marking another major step in the company’s expansion across Southern Europe.
Located in the West of Bucharest, in the Bolintin-Deal area, the construction of the building began in March 2025 and was completed in almost half a year. It stands as one of the most advanced and highly automated logistics centers in Romania. The project was designed and customised by CTP to meet the specific operational and fast development needs of LPP Logistics, which has now leased the facility to support its fast-growing online business in the region.
The decision to expand LPP Logistics’ operations in Romania was taken as part of the company’s long-term growth strategy in Southern Europe. The new warehouse was swiftly commissioned and adapted, enabling the first customer orders to be shipped by the end of October and allowing LPP to fully stabilise its e-commerce operations in Romania. The new fulfillment centre currently serves Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, and Hungary.
Equipped with state-of-the-art automation and robotics, the facility enhances efficiency, reduces unit processing costs, and expands LPP’s operational capacity. It offers a storage capacity of up to 7.5 million items and a throughput of more than 80,000 orders per day. A goods-to-person picking system ensures items are automatically delivered to operators’ workstations, eliminating the need to follow traditional picking routes and significantly improving comfort, accuracy, and productivity.
Built to CTP’s high technical and sustainability standards, the warehouse includes a 12-metre clear height, 150 mm mineral wool façade panels, 200 mm roof insulation, ESFR sprinkler systems, and DALI-ready LED lighting. The 180 mm concrete double-slab floor offers 7t/sqm load capacity and TR34 DM1 levelness, with in-rack sprinklers and dual detection systems supporting the automation setup.
Sustainability was a core consideration throughout the development. The building features grey water systems, high-performance insulation, LED lighting, 3.5% natural roof lighting, air treatment systems for office areas, and dedicated water and oil treatment plants to ensure efficient resource use and low utility consumption.
The facility is on track to achieve both BREEAM Excellent and A-class energy certificates, reinforcing CTP’s commitment to developing sustainable, energy-efficient industrial spaces.
CTPark Bucharest West, the largest industrial park in Central and Eastern Europe, is strategically located along the A1 motorway, the main western gateway to Bucharest. With direct access to the city’s ring road and excellent transportation links, the park is the ideal location for e-commerce and logistics operators serving the capital and its rapidly growing metropolitan area.
The park also hosts Romania’s first CTP Clubhaus, a modern community hub designed for collaboration, learning, and employee wellbeing. Featuring a canteen, supermarket, amphitheatre, meeting rooms, outdoor fitness areas, and an onsite medical office, it provides essential amenities that help attract and retain a high-quality workforce.
