We are looking for a practical, people-focused HR professional to join us as HR Manager for Germany and Austria. This role will report to the Country Head/CEO and work closely with local leadership teams in Construction, Property Management, Finance, and Business Development.
In addition, this position has a functional reporting line to the Group HR Director and will collaborate on international HR initiatives and projects aimed at improving systems, processes, and everyday operations.
This is an on-site role based in Wuppertal/Düsseldorf, with regular travel across Germany and Austria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the go-to HR partner for local teams, providing daily HR support and guidance across departments
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including job postings, interviews, contracts, and onboarding
- Support the rollout and upkeep of HR tools and digital systems, helping the teams work more efficiently
- Handle employee relations and provide practical advice to managers and staff
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with local laws in Germany and Austria
- Coordinate with payroll providers and manage HR administration tasks
- Support internal communication efforts and collaborate with Marketing on employer branding activities
- Contribute to regional HR projects and share best practices with the wider HR community across CTP
What We’re Looking For:
- A hands-on, reliable HR generalist who enjoys being close to the day-to-day operations
- Proven experience in a similar HR role, preferably in an international setting
- Comfortable working with digital tools and HR systems
- Strong understanding of German labor law; Austrian experience is a plus
- Very good German and English language skills (spoken and written)
- A collaborative mindset, with great communication and problem-solving skills
