CTPark Bor Successfully Hosts 2nd Annual CTSports Day
CTPark Bor, the largest industrial park in West Bohemia, hosted the 2nd annual CTSports Day on Saturday, September 19th, which took place on the site’s multi-purpose sports grounds. This day of friendly competition saw teams from each of the park’s tenants compete in a tournament of football and basketball games for trophies and prizes. The whole event was free and open for the public to enjoy.
Every participant in CTSports Day received a prize—a voucher to the Clubhaus—regardless of their standing after the games were over, and the winner of the whole day received a tank of Czech beer and an Italian ham. This year’s first place winner was the team from Loxxess. Adient’s team not only came in second, but also had the most fans come to cheer them on. Last year’s winner MCL came in third, and DHL and SOMO came in 4th and 5th respectively. Additionally, SOMO received a special prize for having the most women compete on their team. After the games were over, the sports site hosted a fun program for kids in the afternoon.
CTP invested almost four million Czech crowns in this multi-purpose recreational ground for its tenants and people from the surrounding area. The site includes courts for basketball and volleyball and pitches for 5-a-side football and other outdoor activities such as badminton or frisbee. In addition to the sports grounds, CTP has built large outdoor fireplaces in two areas of CTPark Bor, which tenants use for outdoor events or barbecues. The recreation areas also include sanitary facilities.
CTPark Bor is one of CTP’s most successful business parks, strategically located in West Bohemia, 50 km from Plzeň’s city center and only 15 km from the German border. The park has more than 15 tenants who employ over 4,000 people over a built-up area of 450,000m2. Currently, over 17,000m2 is available for purchase.
