CTP Park Aš Welcomes Glass Maker Heinz-Glas Decor as New Tenant

Aš, 18 March 2026 – CTP, Europe’s largest listed developer, owner, and operator of industrial and logistics properties by gross leasable area (GLA), announces that Heinz-Glas Decor has become the newest tenant at CTPark Aš, confirming CTP’s flexibility and capability to accommodate companies from a wide range of fields.

Heinz-Glas Decor is a global leader in the production of designer glass packaging for the cosmetics and perfume industries, with numerous well-known international brands among its clients. The company previously used its production facilities in Hranice u Aše for warehousing, but rising demand and heightened cleanliness standards required a new solution. The company selected a partially built unit at CTPark Aš, where the shell & core space could be quickly adapted to the client’s needs. Warehousing glass products requires rigorous cleanliness standards, as well as minor facility adjustments such as outlets for electric insect catchers.

Pavel Isteník, CEO of Heinz-Glas Decor, says:

“We’re expanding production while requiring a high level of quality warehousing because of the materials we use and because of customer expectations. Aš is an ideal location not just for the distance from our production facility, but also because of the high quality of the spaces and the speed of their preparation. Our new warehouse will allow us to more flexibly react to client needs and store our products in the best possible environment.”

Jana Hain-Schmiedberská, CTP Business Developer in the Czech Republic, explains:

“The region around Aš has exceptional potential for development, not just because of its strategic location, but chiefly its people, the city’s approach, and its desire to grow. Together, we’re able to attract companies that are leaders in their fields, and Heinz-Glas Decor is an excellent example of this. Its story shows that the combination of tradition and innovation with excellent facilities can create something lasting. These are the kind of partnerships we want to develop at CTP with respect to the client’s specific needs and with the goal of the region’s long-term development.”

The Aš region’s development potential is gradually being transformed into an attractive business environment thanks to investments and the city’s active approach. CTP has been building flexible industrial spaces as well as a sustainable environment in the area for several years. All buildings at CTPark Aš are BREEAM certified, with Heinz-Glas Décor’s new logistics facility aiming for BREEAM Excellent certification. Another new building at CTPark Aš recently received a BREEAM Very Good score. Projects underway at the site include the development of extensive green spaces with habitats for protected species, the installation of solar panels and water recycling systems, and upgraded bicycle connections to the park.

The development of CTPark Aš—3 km from the Czech-German border—continues in cooperation with the city of Aš as part of the effort to make this border region a more attractive location. The local authorities actively welcome the arrival of new companies and help create the conditions for their long-term establishment in the area. A major role in this effort is played by the Lex Aš initiative—a business study and a legislative framework designed to create special economic zones with the goal of jump-starting economic growth in the region, attracting strategic investments, and supporting the return of Czech employees to the broader Czech-Bavarian-Saxon microregion.

Vítězslav Kokoř, Mayor of Aš, says:

“We want the Aš region to become a place that’s great to live and do business. Cooperation with CTP and the Lex Aš project means we have a chance to create an environment that will attract new investors, offer high-quality jobs, and help bring Czech workers back to our region. We believe the border region can be a driver of modern industry and prosper over the long term.”

CTPark Aš, the western-most property in CTP’s Czech portfolio, is 3 km from the German border and offers excellent connections to the A93, A9, A4, and A72 motorways, making it an ideal location for logistics and light production. The park currently has almost 70,000 sqm of space, 18,000 sqm of which is still available to tenants as shell & core spaces, with a delivery time of six months. CTP has also received permits for two more buildings that will expand the park by nearly 25,000 sqm.
