CTP Completes CTPark Krefeld, Delivering 19,000 sqm of Business Space

Wuppertal / Krefeld, 03.09.2026 – CTP, Europe’s largest listed owner, developer and manager of logistics and industrial real estate by gross leasable area (GLA), has completed CTPark Krefeld and welcomed the park’s first occupier.

Developed in two phases on a site of approximately 31,700 sqm, the new business park provides approximately 19,000 sqm of gross leasable space. This comprises around 15,700 sqm of warehouse space and 3,300 sqm of offices and amenities for industrial, logistics and production-related businesses.

CTPark Krefeld offers flexible units ranging from 400 to 4,800 sqm, accommodating a broad range of operational requirements. The first phase was completed in January 2026, followed by the second and final phase in August 2026, bringing the project to completion around 14 months after construction began.

In August, an international steel and technology group became the first occupier at CTPark Krefeld, leasing approximately 1,700 sqm for the storage, handling, order picking, and logistics processing of metal products, together with associated office and administrative activities.

Sandra Kraus, Leasing Director at CTP in Germany, explains:

“The fact that the first client has already moved into CTPark Krefeld upon completion underlines the quality of the location. The arrival of an international steel and technology group demonstrates that the park meets the requirements of modern industrial and logistics companies. The combination of warehouse, office, and amenity space allows for flexible use and creates the conditions needed to accommodate a range of operational requirements at a single location.”

Energy efficiency and sustainability were key priorities in the development of CTPark Krefeld. The project has achieved DGNB Gold certification and incorporates extensive rooftop photovoltaic panels, an energy-efficient lighting system, heat pump-based heating, and charging stations for electric vehicles.

“In developing CTPark Krefeld, we combined modern warehouse and office space with high standards of energy efficiency and sustainability. Photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, energy-efficient lighting, and charging infrastructure for electric vehicles all make an important contribution to reducing the site’s energy requirements and operational emissions over the long term,” adds Sarah Klein, Construction Director at CTP in Germany.

CTPark Krefeld is located in the western part of the city, less than three kilometres from the city centre. The A44 and A57 motorways can both be reached within ten minutes, while Düsseldorf Airport is approximately 25 minutes away. The park also benefits from excellent public transport connections, with a tram stop within walking distance, as well as access to several nearby cycle routes.

Timo Hielscher, Managing Director of CTP in Germany, says:

“With the completion of CTPark Krefeld, we are expanding our portfolio in North Rhine-Westphalia with a modern and sustainably designed business location. Thanks to its central location, proximity to key transport routes and excellent public transport connections, Krefeld offers attractive conditions for companies in the industrial, logistics and other production-related sectors. The arrival of the park’s first client underlines the demand for high-quality, flexible commercial space in the region.”
