CTP delivers a 9,500 sqm built-to-suit (BTS) production facility for DEHN at CTPark Pitești

Bucharest, 21 July 2026 – CTP, Europe’s largest listed owner, developer, and operator of logistics and industrial real estate by gross leasable area, has completed and delivered a 9,500 sqm built-to-suit (BTS) production facility for German technology leader DEHN at CTPark Pitești, where the company has commenced manufacturing operations. The project marks DEHN’s first production facility in Romania and the successful completion of a bespoke development launched by CTP in summer 2025.

As part of DEHN’s global manufacturing network, the company’s new facility at CTPark Pitești supports growing demand across European markets. DEHN, a German family-owned specialist in lightning protection, surge protection, and safety equipment, manufactures surge protective devices in Pitești, complementing its highly automated production facilities in Germany with specialised, high-value manual assembly operations.

Developed as a tailor-made BTS solution, the project reflects CTP’s ability to deliver manufacturing facilities designed around each client’s operational requirements. From site selection and permitting to construction and long-term property management, CTP’s integrated platform enabled DEHN to establish its first manufacturing operation in Romania on schedule.

DEHN selected CTPark Pitești in Romania after evaluating several sites across Europe, concluding that the location offers strong transport infrastructure, access to skilled talent supported by local technical universities, and an attractive business environment for advanced manufacturing. The facility is expected to create up to 150 new jobs across production, logistics, and shared services, contributing to the region’s economic development and strengthening Pitești’s position as a growing manufacturing hub.

With the completion of DEHN’s new facility, CTPark Pitești now comprises approximately 80,000 sqm of industrial space and continues to strengthen its position as one of southern Romania’s leading destinations for advanced manufacturing and logistics operations.
