Jazzmin Bar & Dining: miesto, kde sa v Brne stretáva živý jazz, špičková kuchyňa a koktaily s charakterom

A new venue has opened at the Courtyard by Marriott Brno hotel in Spielberk, bringing a new rhythm to Brno’s gastronomic and cultural scene. Jazzmin Bar & Dining offers a unique combination of an elegant setting, signature cuisine, tailor-made cocktails and artistic performances. Special Friday evenings, held once a month, go beyond the jazz genre and offer live concerts, stand-up performances, and other artistic experiences. Thanks to cooperation with the JazzFest Brno festival and the jazz department of JAMU, the bar has managed to attract some really interesting jazz names to its program. This has made the venue one of the key cultural spots in Brno’s social life.

Jazzmin functions as a multifunctional space – during the day it offers an environment suitable for work lunches and business meetings, while in the evening it transforms into a bar with a cultural twist. A striking feature of the interior is the 11-meter bar, where a team of experienced bartenders prepare signature cocktails created specifically for Jazzmin. The unique fusion of experiences is made possible by the synergistic cooperation between CTP and the Courtyard by Marriott Brno hotel, thanks to which Jazzmin has become a place for business and networking, but also an interesting cultural spot for the public.

The quality of the musical performances is guaranteed by, among other things, close cooperation with the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts (JAMU) and the JazzFest Brno festival, which curates selected concerts. The first concert in collaboration with JazzFest took place on May 23, featuring Swiss singer living in Brno Géraldine Schnyder accompanied by Jiří Slavík, Martin Novák, and Vilém Spilka. Other concerts by leading Czech and Slovak performers will follow throughout the year, including Júlia Kozáková, Markéta Foukalová, and Tomáš Liška’s quartet Invisible World.

The cultural program is a regular part of operations. From Monday to Thursday, students from JAMU and local artists perform, and Friday evenings are dedicated to concerts, stand-up performances, and other forms of live art once a month.

Jazzmin Bar & Dining was created as part of the Spielberk complex, which CTP is developing as a modern urban campus connecting work, leisure, and culture. Similar to the Vlněna and Ponávka complexes, the emphasis here is on creating a community space for a wide range of visitors – from hotel guests and Brno residents to employees of nearby offices.
