CTP adds new international partner to domestic portfolio

CTP signed a multi-year contract at the end of last year with the global transport and logistics provider Scan Global Logistics., which occupies almost 13,000 square metres of space in CTPark Budapest East’s ULL2 Hall at Üllő.

Founded almost 50 years ago, Scan Global Logistics offers a wide range of logistics and freight forwarding services to its partners in more than 45 countries and over 160 locations on six continents. The company chose the CTPark Budapest East logistics park, because it was able to move into immediately available rental space at a competitive market price with flexible services.

Another important factor for the company was the ideal location near Üllő, 8 km from Budapest, next to the M0 ring road and Liszt Ferenc International Airport. CTPark Budapest East is easily accessible from all motorways due to its proximity to the M0 motorway, and also has a large workforce available, making it an ideal site for both logistics and manufacturing companies.

The ongoing interior and exterior renovation of the ULL2 Hall in the facility has seen the use of modern technical solutions, including new cladding, solar panels on the roof to improve energy efficiency and sustainability, and heat pumps for the office areas. In addition, the old lighting fixtures in the building were replaced with LED lights, a new security camera system was installed and the fence was renovated. The replacement of the liquid cooler and the installation of the BMS system is currently underway.

Almost the entire CTP portfolio in Hungary has green certification and, as such, the ULL2 Hall is also BREEAM certified. The renovation works also show that CTP is not satisfied with merely obtaining green certification for its buildings. In the spirit of sustainability and ESG, in addition to new investments, it also places great emphasis on the continuous modernisation of existing halls.
