Constellium to celebrate new Automotive Plant in CTPark Žilina

Constellium hosted a special event at its facility at CTPark Žilina to celebrate the plant’s start of production. Taking part in the celebration were customers, local dignitaries, suppliers and employees. The plant opened at the end of 2018 and has expanded from 5,200 m² to 15,000 m2 to accommodate new supply programs for multiple automakers’ assembly plants around Europe. By the end of 2019, Constellium expects to have 90 employees in Žilina.

The Žilina plant produces aluminum Crash Management Systems and other safety components for several automakers, using advanced techniques for forming, machining, welding and heat treatment, and also features a state-of-the-art quality lab.
