Romania’s Industrial Market Keeps Growing
The industrial and logistics segment is experiencing very good momentum and is rapidly growing in Romania.
Industries in Romania is rising, namely segments such as FMCG, electronic commerce, logistics or electro-IT. Companies in these sectors are expanding their businesses and need storage and production facilities. CTP, one of the most dynamic developers on the Romanian market, is keeping the pace with the trends and continues the expansion.
Since the beginning of this year, big tenants such as DSV, Van Moer, Tibbett Logistics, NOD or Quehenberger chose to expand their premises in new buildings developed by CTP in Romania. We are also happy to welcome some new tenants.
Because of the current economic climate, Romanians working abroad are starting to return to Romania in larger numbers, thus impoving the imbalance between supply and demand on the labour market.
Infrastructure networks are being modernized. The Romanian Road Traffic Management Company (CNAIR) announced on May the 4th, the design and execution of a new part of the South Bucharest Ring Road will connect A1 și A2 Highways. Good infrastructure increases the development options and the number of investors in the area, which translates into new business for CTP.
